Walkers Cay - Bahamas
The Duchess has called Walker's Cay home for nearly 30 years. From 1978 until 2004, when back to back hurricanes Frances and Jeanne decimated the marina and everything on the island, Captain Billy Black has run literally thousands of chartered fishing trips in these waters. He knows these waters better than anyone - he'll put you on the fish! Grand Cay, 6 miles to the east of Walker's, is now Capt. Billy Black's place to lay up while fishing these fertile waters. Rosie's Place has a marina, fish house, fuel dock, bar, and a restaurant that rocks. The people of Grand Cay are friendly and hospitable. It's a laid back, quiet, and quaint part of the Bahamas, and it's surely the place to catch plenty of large pelagic fish.
